2.1 Local Processing

All photo processing is performed locally on your Mac:

• Filter application is performed locally
• Photo composition is performed locally
• Animation export is performed locally
• All image processing is performed locally

2.2 File Access

The app only accesses files with your explicit authorization:

• Input photos selected through system file picker (NSOpenPanel) or drag & drop
• Output directory selected through system file picker
• Uses macOS Security-Scoped Resources to manage file permissions
• All file access permissions automatically expire when the app closes

3. Network Connection

Soft Embrace Edit is a completely offline application:

• No Network Requests: The app does not connect to any servers
• No Data Upload: Your photos never leave your device
• No Remote Analytics: No data is sent to any third parties

4. Data Storage

The app's data storage policy:

• User Preferences: Only saves your interface preferences (such as last selected filter, layout, etc.) stored in local UserDefaults
• Temporary Files: May create temporary files during processing, automatically deleted after completion
• Output Files: Processed photos are saved to your specified location, completely under your control

5. Third-Party Services

Soft Embrace Edit does not use any third-party services:

• No third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics)
• No third-party advertising services
• No third-party cloud storage services
• No social media SDKs integrated

6. App Sandbox

Soft Embrace Edit fully complies with macOS App Sandbox security standards:

• The app runs in a sandboxed environment, isolated from other parts of the system
• Can only access files and folders explicitly authorized by the user
• Cannot access system-sensitive information
• Complies with App Store security review requirements

7. Children's Privacy

Soft Embrace Edit is suitable for users of all ages:

• Does not collect any user information, including children's information
