Q: What input format does IconForge Pro support?
IconForge Pro only accepts 1024x1024 PNG format images. This is the standard size required by Apple for app icons.
Q: What platforms are supported?
IconForge Pro supports all Apple platforms:

Q: What is the output structure?
IconForge Pro automatically generates a standard Xcode-compatible structure:

Q: What is the "Smart Rounded Corners" feature?
The smart rounded corners feature applies a golden ratio corner radius to your icons, perfectly matching Apple's design guidelines. You can toggle between rounded and square corners.
Q: Does IconForge Pro require an internet connection?
No. IconForge Pro processes everything locally on your Mac. No internet connection is required, and no data is uploaded.
Q: What is GPU acceleration?
IconForge Pro uses Metal framework to leverage your Mac's GPU for faster processing. This makes conversion 10-50x faster than traditional methods. If GPU is unavailable, it automatically falls back to CPU processing.
Q: What if the output directory already exists?
IconForge Pro will show a warning dialog if Assets.xcassets already exists in the output directory. You can choose to cancel or overwrite the existing files.
Q: What are the system requirements?
IconForge Pro requires:
- macOS 12.7.6 or later
- Supports all Mac devices (13-32 inch displays)
- Works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs
π§ Troubleshooting
Problem: "Icon size must be 1024x1024" error
Make sure your input image is exactly 1024x1024 pixels. You can check the size in Finder by selecting the file and pressing Command+I.
Problem: Conversion fails or crashes
- Ensure your PNG file is not corrupted
- Try converting to a different output directory
- Make sure you have write permissions for the output directory
- Restart the app and try again
Problem: Generated icons don't appear in Xcode
- Make sure you dragged the entire Assets.xcassets folder into Xcode
- Clean your Xcode project (Cmd+Shift+K) and rebuild
- Check that the Contents.json file was generated correctly
